ICXC NIKA Retro Biruitor - Premium Heavyweight Oversized Cut Sweatshirt

The Message

You may have seen this symbol on old churches, in icons of saints, or even on the backs of cars (especially here in Europe).

ICXC NIKA simply means Jesus Christ Conquers.

The IC and XC are the first and last letters in the Greek words for Jesus and Christ respectively. And NIKA is connected to the Greek word for victory.

Our Lord and Christ has overcome! He has won the victory. And He has given us the victory through His own sacrifice. By death he conquered death! Our King and High Priest is alive!

“If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins” (1 Cor 15:17). But Christ has risen, and, as fellow conquerors with Him, Christians “have passed from death to life” (1 John 3:14).

This design gives reminds us that we have the tools to walk in victory, not striving for victory. Fighting with the victor, not for ourselves. For everything of ourselves will pass way, but Him and His Word will not! (Matt 24:35) Amen 🙏

This is our heaviest, oversize-est sweatshirt. You want to be snuggled up in Autumn/Winter? You might not even need a jacket if you’ve got this bad boy. We would consider this to be our most ‘streetwear’ sweatshirt. If you’re looking for a statement sweatshirt that is your ‘thing’; this is the one. It's the one you'll get in the mail and think 'ooft' this is awesome quality but a little stiff (It's 100% cotton, just wait a second), and then after a few washes you'll think... oh my goodness it is like this was made just for ME!

Made from 100% Organic French Terry Cotton, Weighing in at a whopping 400GSM.

We've tried to make sure the colours match as close as to reality as possible; but with different devices, lighting, cameras etc. there may be some slight variation.

We've tried to keep this as simple as possible, as well as encouraging people from the same church/small-group/school/university to buy together to save on shipping (a bit of an environmental benefit there as well).
